Here Is The Process For Every New Client At Our Studio
I. RESEARCH
AK Aesthetics strives to provide the ultimate self care experience through natural beauty enhancements such as lash extensions, customized facials, and intimate hair removal. We are not like other aesthetic studios in the area as we study the art of customized treatments to best fit your beauty and wellness goals.

Our studio is the TOP luxury self care studio in the North Atlanta area.
Our lead esthetician, Akyra, specializes in custom lash extensions + skin treatments focusing on hydration and hyperpigmentation for multicultural skin.
After booking on our website, you will receive reminders via text and email at the time of booking, 72 hours before your visit, and again 24 hours before. Please contact our office if you need to reschedule your appointment.
II. CONSULTATION
In your virtual or in-studio consultation, your esthetician will do the following for all lash extension services:
- examine the health + integrity of natural lashes
- discuss any sensitivities to materials used for lash extensions such as gel pads, glue, or tape
- determine your preferred lash set + style
- curate a customized lash set just for you based off our professional opinion
In your virtual or in-studio consultation, your esthetician will do the following for all facial services:
- analyze your skin condition
- determine your skin type/sensitivities + discuss your skin goals
- examine your current skincare regimen + lifestyle
- design first treatment plan based on your skin's needs
III. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
BEFORE your first appointment, it is very important for you to complete the required forms emailed to you which include a credit card authorization form and your consultation form.
Lash Appointments:
- PLEASE do not arrive to your fill in appointment if you actually need a full set. Notify our staff immediately so we can ensure we properly allocate the time needed to fulfill your service. Failure to do so will result in immediate rescheduling.
- If you have allergies or any sensitivities, please notify our staff immediately or put in notes during booking. Depending on the severity, a patch test may be necessary to schedule prior to requested appointment.
Facial Appointments:
- PLEASE do not arrive to your appointment with broken skin or lesions, as you will be turned away to allow your skin to heal. Please notify our staff immediately as we will need to reschedule your appointment.
- If you have allergies or any sensitivities, please notify our staff immediately or put in notes during booking. Depending on the severity, a patch test may be necessary to schedule prior to requested appointment.
Hair Removal Appointments:
- In order to ensure you are best prepared for your appointment, please exfoliate the area you are getting waxed 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.
- PLEASE double check to make sure you will not be menstruating during your scheduled appointment. If so, please notify our staff immediately so we can reschedule.
- If you have allergies or any sensitivities, please notify our staff immediately or put in notes during booking. Depending on the severity, a patch test may be necessary to schedule prior to requested appointment.
Energy Healing Appointments:
- Drink 8oz of water prior to reiki session
- Eat and hydrate 2 hours prior to session
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing
- Use restroom prior to session
IV. APPOINTMENT DAY
Upon arrival, please ring the doorbell and wait for your esthetician to greet you at the door. You will be offered a light snack + beverage and then escorted to the treatment area.
Please refrain from bringing children or extra guests to AK Aesthetics. We ask this to ensure we maintain client privacy and a relaxed environment.
For facial and hair removal appointments, your esthetician will give you privacy to get ready for your appointment on the treatment table. Once your treatment begins, your esthetician will explain each step of the process including different products being used and why.
For lash appointments, your esthetician will walk you to the treatment room and offer you a blanket before starting.
For energy healing, sauna, and yoga services, your esthetician or healer will walk you to your designated room to prepare for your appointment. You will be welcomed with a towel wrap and cold water before the start of your appointment.
Once your service is complete, your esthetician, energy healer, or yoga instructor will give you time to change and you will meet them at the front desk for checkout. Finally, before you depart you will be offered another light refreshment + snack.
V. POST CARE + INDIVIDUAL BEAUTY & WELLNESS JOURNEY
After your service has been completed, your esthetician will provide you with the proper aftercare protocol for your service received. You will also receive these instructions via email within 24 hours of your appointment.
Your esthetician will assist with booking your next visit and escort you to the door wishing you a wonderful day!
